Touge rules

The aim of touge is to be the fastest on a particular stretch of road. Drifting can be used to block the chaser or as a part of a driving strategy, but touge is traditionally focused on grip.

There are various race types, but the more common ones are heads up and cat & mouse.

Heads Up

As it sounds, both cars start equally on the starting line, and both launch at the same time. During the race, the lead car wins if the space between the cars increases considerably, while the following car wins if the gap between them stays the same, decreases from start to finish or the following car overtakes the lead car. If any car spins out or crashes, the other one wins the race. Usually only 1 race is run (Unless the very odd occasion of a tie) whoever is leader at the end wins.

Cat & Mouse

Cars start one in front of the other, so there is a lead car and a follow car. If the follow car passes and holds the lead, then the initial follow car wins. If the lead car outruns the follow car, then the lead car wins. If there is no clear winner, the cars switch position and run again. Run continues until one of the cars either outruns or passes. As many runs as needed.

-Car positions can be selected on multiple factors (Horsepower, challenger, type of road, etc.)

-There is a certain amount of feet (usually ranges from 50 to 100ft but totally up to challenge host rules) that clarifies what is an "Outrun".
